The kits are packed in a bag according to the customer's requirement. The details of available items are given below :

1. Midwifery Bag (EDC 501)
 

Approx. Size - (225 mm high x 200 mm deep x 350 mm long) or ( 9" x 8" x 14")

Made of waterproof, fungus proof vinyl material having top opening with side handles adjustable shoulder strap, document pocket and nylon liner.
2. Case Aluminium Midwifery Kit
Approx. Size -300 x 215 x 150mm
Made of aluminium thick sheet deep drawn duely annodized stackable having removeable lid. Collapsible carrying handle on cover having side spring loaded clamp on sides to lock the lid.

4. Sphygmomanometer (B.P. Apparatus) (EDC 502)
  • Aneroid with cuff (arm adult ) as per IS:7052.
  • 0 to 300 mm Hg.
  • Cuff fastened with velcro strip in zipper case.

5. Sphygmomanometer (B.P. Apparatus mercurical) (EDC 503)

  • BP apparatus mercurial conforming to IS: 3390

  • 0 to 300 mm Hg.

  • Cuff fastened with velcro strip in metal case, spare washers and glass tube cleaning brush.

  • Available in table, trolley and wall model.

6. Metal shield (BCG) (EDC 506)

Anodised, Aluminium, approx. 20 gauge (0.914mm) folding into 3 parts, sides apprx. 130 cm wide x 177cm high, base 130 x 130 mm.

7. Nail clipper/File (EDC 507)

For use by health workers in cutting and cleaning finger nails. Handle of nail clipper service as nail file Chrome plated.

8. Nail Filer (EDC 508)

Nail filer made of carbon steel duely harned for filing nail of health workers.

Made from good quality 10 mm medium stiff white nylon bristles having 10 x 5 rows on face and 11 x 1 rows on back on plastic block 90 x 35 mm.

12. Baby Balance (EDC 512)
Hanging type with zero adjusment, superior ring and load hook. Aluminium tubular matal casing calibrated to weigh 0 to 5 kg in 100 gm. Graduation with colour code. The length of scale is 17.5 cm.

13. Syringe case (EDC 513)

Made of stainless steel sheet 18/8 (SISI 304) grade to accomodate 2 syringes of either 2ml or 5ml.
14. Sponage Holding Forcep (EDC 514)

Forcep sponge holding made of stainless steel self hardening grade with box joint size 220mm.

15. Bowl Sponge (EDC 515)

Sponge Bowls are made of stainless steel 18/8) (AISI 304) grade stinless steel in thickness 0.5 to 0.9 mm or Aluminium duely anodized with straight /curled/beaded edge. Please refer to EDC 245 & EDC 246.

16. Sheet Plastic (EDC 516)

As per IS:2076/1981/USP-XXII page 1497 urine grade PVC. Virgin 8 gauge (0.2mm) Moisture proof, Stain resistant to blood, saliva, oils, greases and alcohol.

Nelson solid tip, one eye with funnel conforming to IS:7523, made of Medical grade soft rubber, Approx. Size:4mm Dia. x 400mm length i.e. FR-12.

 18. Irrigator Set (EDC 518)
  1. Duschcan : Made of 0.7 thick 18/8 grade stainless steel with suitable handle and hook and chromeplated brass nipple to connect tube,  with two spare washers
        Size : O.D. 115 mm x 160 mm x 0.7 mm thickness
  2. Dusch Set : Made of good quality suitable grade plastic with straight and curved nozzle.
  3. Rubber Tubing : Made from  rubber conforming to IS: 5850.
        Size : 7 mm I D x 10 mm OD x 150 mm length.
  4. Hoffman Clamp : made of thick sturdy mild steel duly electroplated for stopping flow of liquid in the tubing.

N.B. : 1. Dusch Jar made of high quality P.V.C. is also available in 1 litre capacity.

19. Safety Razor (EDC 519)

Made of good quality brass duly chromeplated. Handle is knurled to give firm grip.

Note: Safety Razor is also available with unbreakable with unbreakable plastic handle.

20. Surgeon Gloves (EDC 520)

Made of fine smooth tropical quality sterilizable latex rubber conforming to IS:4148 is available in all standard sizes.

21. Foetal Stethoscope (EDC 521)



Pinard, monaural made from Aluminium duly anodized  conforming to Is: 6565.
 
N.B. Foetal stethoscope is also available in unbreakable plastic.

22. Thermometer Clinical Rectal (EDC 523)

Prismatic type scale 35 to 42 degrees celsius lens pear shaped bulb packed in plastic case.
N.B. Also available in degrees fahrenhite scale or dual scale.

23. Thermometer Clinical Oral (EDC 522)

Prismatic type 35 to 42 degree celsius lens front cylindrical bulb in case, packed in plastic can.
N.B. Also available in degrees fahrenhite scale or dual scale.
  24. Tape Umbilical Non-sterile. (EDC 24)
20/21 x 25mm on spool with cover, cotton thread umbilical non-sterile with cover on spool. Cover avoids the contact of health workers to the remaining thread.

25. Reusable Muscus Sucker (EDC 525)

Muscus extractor, made of polycarbonate muscus trap with catheter-infant size with rounded open lip and boilable medical grade siliconised PVC turbings (Suction catheter) with funnel end.
